Condo of the Week: 35 Bastion Street, Toronto

Welcome to 35 Bastion – York Harbour Club Condominium Residences!

The neighbourhood of Fort York will always be my favourite place to live. Maybe it's because of my fascination for history values and the War of 1812 signaficance in this small community. Whatever it may be that continuously draws me to this community, I feel at home and I am sure you will as well after viewing this spectacular beauty at York Harbour Club Residences!

The building borders the creatively-designed urban forest and botanical garden of June Callwood Park, and is a sister building to 38 Grand Magazine Street. The building was built in 2014 and forms part of the York Harbour Club condo development. This spectacular condominium, built by the established Plaza developers and designed by award-winning Quadrangle Architects, was built with a luxury cruise ship as its inspiration!

  • Neighbourhood: Fort York
  • Price: $757,800
  • Annual Taxes: $3,860/2016
  • Maintenance Fees: $620/month
  • Bedrooms:  2+1
  • Bathrooms: 2
  • Parking: 1/Underground
  • Locker: Owned

Just to the south of the building is Lake Ontario's waterfront, a number of dog friendly arks as well as the Martin Goodman Trail. This twenty-storey structure comes with a state-of-the-art green/living roof with spectacular views of the lake and downtown.

Along with a third-storey terrace with an outdoor pool and barbecues, residents of the 35 Bastion Street building also have access to three guest suites.

The Owner of this particular suite has kept it in an immaculate state; the wallpaper was a chic and beautiful touch to the layout. With just under a thousand square feet, the suite has a sense of a "home" feeling to it.

The suite is beautifully designed with a great use of space! Two bedrooms plus an extra space for either a dining room, home office, or for most of my boss girls out there - a custom walk-in closet! Perfect location with just the right amount of escape from the downtown core with the option of walking to restaurants and night life of King West in just 15 minutes.

I visited the property in the early afternoon and was greeted warmly by the concierge staff. The lighting was perfect, the building was very quiet and the residents were polite and friendly. I always say that first impressions are the best - and I definitely felt welcomed when I entered this building.

Contact me today for your own private viewing of this luxurious condo in the Fort York Community!
